Highlights of Berlin

Bode Museum – built in between 1887 and 1904.

Berlin city is best experienced on a bicycle round-the-clock. A bicycle-friendly culture, supremely flat terrain and dedicated lanes make it accessible. We choose to get on the sight-seeing bus. This was a great way to get an overview of the city. We decided to experience the tour without getting off first and then went back to the stops we wanted to explore.

The bus stopped at the following tourist attractions:

  • Kaufhaus des Westens, aka KaDeWe
  • Potsdamer Platz
  • Gendarmenmarkt
  • Alexanderplatz/TV Tower
  • Brandenburg Gate,
  • Checkpoint Charlie,
  •  Berlin Wall Memorial
  • Olympic Stadium

The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.

Fleur De Paris is another little gem I discovered whilst exploring the streets of Berlin.  Their Infinity Arrangements consist of real, everlasting roses that maintain freshness for several years. So if you’re ever stuck on a present to get some one bless them with some roses.

Best believe I took so many pictures, would love to upload then all.

Sadly I don’t have many food pictures, I like to eat food and I rarely think about taking a picture before eating. Lucky for you these I managed to capture these meals.  Food in Berlin is ok, not the best maybe its the restaurants i went to. Italian, French and Turkish’s Restaurants are very dominated in Berlin and the odd currywurst stand.  The meal enjoyed the most was in Hamburg soy sauce turkey  served with plain rice.  I am going to recreate this recipe for you guys so keep an eye out.

till next time xx
